Privacy Laws & Business provides an independent privacy laws information service to many of the world’s largest companies, specialist lawyers and has clients in over 45 countries. In the United Kingdom, the company provides services to help its private and public sector clients comply with both the Data Protection Act and the Freedom of Information Act. Privacy Laws & Business show management why and how a positive response to the issues underlying privacy laws provides not only a competitive advantage, and a way of building and sustaining customer trust, but also a driver of their business strategy.

 

The solution

Fifth Dimension re-developed the Privacy Laws & Business site using EPiServer, an advanced content management system. This provided the platform for the majority of the site re-development based around the advanced user profile management and the resulting permissions features, combined with the content management of the site structure and pages.

Fifth Dimension’s focus was on configuring EPiServer and developing the necessary templates which deliver content on the site. We identified and configured the appropriate functionality in a manner, which is appropriate to Privacy Laws & Business and it’s site users. On completion of the website will provided training and support to Privacy Laws & Business in managing site content.

Fifth Dimension were required to integrate the payment options into the site, as this is not standard feature of EPiServer.
